Due to numerous detections of the forbidden and hazardous substances at surveillance tests of the offal products imported from the European Union Member States to the Russian Federation, since October, 21st we introduce temporary limitations for import of the following edible products from the European Union Member States to the Russian Federation, in compliance with the Foreign Economic Activity Commodity Nomenclature: Cattle and pigs offal products (out of 0206, 0210); Edible fine or crude flour from meat or meat offal products (out of 0210); Fat (including lard) (groups 1501); Cattle fat (out of 1502). Regarding the mentioned products shipped before October 21st, 2014 as well as such products delivered to the boarder of the Russian Federation from the European Union Member States before October 26th, 2014, the decision will be made by the Rosselkhoznadzor in usual order with sample selection for tightened laboratory control of safety indicators.
