through an oral and a written
presentations.

Focus of the Day:
• Today you will use all components of Unit 6
to complete the End-of-Unit Project
(Performance Task).
• Those components are related to content
covered in Health class, unit 5 content
(Vegetables & Fruits), and unit 6 content
(Food & Drinks)
Independent Work:
• Look very closely at each of the pictures
handed to you.
• List every food you see on each picture in a
table.
• That table should also show the food
category where each food listed before
belongs.
• Include the name of each food item in Arabic
and in English.
Independent Work (cont.):
• Write a short paragraph where you state the
food item(s) missing from each picture so
the meal shown would comply with the FDA
recommendations.
• Use and refer to the Food Pyramid handed to
you to help you complete your project.

Homework:
•Finish part 1 of unit 6
project.
