The cost: 20.00(cost cover the snack and materials for activities)
Youth will have the opportunity to do crafts, play some fun games and learn about different
cultures within this program!
REGISTRATION NEEDS TO BE IN BY MARCH 15TH 2013.
Mountain View Elementary
is pleased to offer MORESPORTS indoor soccer.
Every FRIDAY come to Mountain View’s gym to play a fun game of soccer as well as practice the
skills you need to become a great soccer player!!
The sessions are run by an activities facilitator from the City of Coquitlam as well as dedicated
volunteers from local high schools.
DATE: begins APRIL 19th till June 14th and will run every Friday ** EXCEPT FOR PROFESSIONAL
DAYS AND STATUATORY HOLIDAYS**
TIME: 3:15 till 4:30 pm
LOCATION: in the GYM at Mountainview Elm.
COST: is $20.00 for 8 sessions.
Moody Middle has afterschool programming offered in spring 2013.
Every WednesdayBOTH PROGRAMS: Start date: April 17thTill June 12th
Start time : 3:05 – 4:15pm
There will be the DELUXE HOMEWORK CLUB right after school with a snack, homework help
and followed by some down time to just be kids!!
Also we are pleased to offer an open Lacrosse Clinic offered by the Coquitlam Adanacs after
school as well, the program will have on-going registration and it will be based on demand. So if
more students sign up the more clinics we will have!

Banting Middle’s Spring Session
Lego Robotics: Mondays 3:15-4:45pm Begins April 15th till June 10th (2 Mondays
with no program May 20th and June 3rd)
Coming in spring to Banting is Mindstorm’s Lego robotics program. You get the opportunity to
combined Lego play with building your own robotic creation. This is a fun and innovative
program! Register fast before it fills up!
Miffed Accessories: Wednesdays at Lunch time (with a Wednesday monthly after
school meeting to plan the fashion show)
High fashion will be at Banting in the spring. You will make your own feather hair accessories
and jewelry. Who doesn’t like feathers and sparkly goodness? If you are a fashionista, come and
create your own masterpieces!
The Urban Art and Garden Project: Tuesday and Thursday 3:30 till 4:30 (
weather depending for the mural; Rain days we will be inside)
This unique project will include art and growing a garden. We will be creating a graffiti mural
that will encompass the community garden and we will be learning how to grow a sustainable
garden for our entire school community.
Reach for the Sky Music Project: Tuesday and Thursday 3:30- 4:30 ( will be doing
field trips this session, more info will follow of times and dates)
The music production program will continue to be in full swing, creating music, learning the
skills and industry around making music. For more information please come to a session and
find out.

Release & Behaviour Guidelines
Release
1. I/We agree that our child(ren) will follow all reasonable directions and instructions given
by the Program Instructor(s) in connection with the operation of any and all Community
Schools Programs offered in School District #43.
2. I/We release and forever discharge School District #43, school staff, Program Instructors
and partners of the Community Schools of and from all manner of actions, claims and
demands of whatever nature which result from any accidental injury, loss of expense
sustained, arising out of or in any way connected with participation in any Community
School program, service or event.
3. In the event that my/our child(ren) is/are injured, ill or in need of immediate medical
attention and I/we are unable to be contacted, I/we authorize school district staff,
Program Instructors and volunteers to seek medical attention on my/our behalf.
4. I/We authorize School District #43 to use, at their discretion, any photographs
containing our child(ren)’s images taken while participating in Community School
programs and events for Community School brochures and promotional materials.
Behaviour Policy
The after-school programs are not designed or staffed to deal with behaviour issues.
Should a child’s behaviour interfere with the program, he/she will receive notice that their
behaviour is unacceptable. Should a second incident occur the child will be given a time-out.
Should a third incident occur the child will be sidelined for the remainder of the session, and it
will be recorded as one of three chances before the child is removed from the program.
Parents will be contacted regarding behaviour issues.
RELEASE AND BEHAVIOUR GUIDELINES AGREEMENT
