There are no internal process documented, therefore the successful candidate will be speaking to
policy holders, discussing with them the policies of existing processes and establish a planned,
strategic effort to review and updated them. Involves speaking to retained function and shared
service provider. Reviewing documents, reviewing where guidance should be updated.
Main Duties and Responsibilities





Analyse business change initiatives.
Work with business change owners to gather, develop and document process maps and
requirements.
Producing "as is" and "to be" business process maps.
Work with business change owners and IT suppliers (where required) to ensure that
requirements are clearly understood and necessary information is available.
Issue resolution between internal and external stakeholders.
Key Tasks and Deliverables
BIS outsources its HR and payroll transactional services to a shared service provider. In house
processes were documented prior to transfer 2 years ago, but since the service has gone live hand
off points to the shared service provider need revisiting and some processes are now out of date.




Review and documentation of 'as is' processes.
Identify efficiencies/improvement to processes.
Produce internal guidance/flow charts for Intranet.
Document all hand off points to external providers.
Experience
Essential:
 Understanding of HR/payroll processes would be an advantage.
 Basic understanding of end to end HR payroll process.
 Strong interpersonal skills, as will involves internal stakeholder meetings.
