Modeling a stick figure is pretty simple if you know the basics of your modeling tool. I will walk you
through how to create a stick figure which could then be animated and used in your own video game.
Step 1: First, open your modeling program. For this tutorial, I will be using the Anim8tor, but you can
use what ever you are used to.
Step 2: Create a sphere using the “Add Sphere” tool.
Step 3: Next, create a cylinder by drawing a line near the y axis and “lathe” it.
Step 4: Create another cylinder by drawing a line near the x axis and “lathe” it
Step 5: Copy the cylinder that you have just created and move them to the main body.
Step 6: Paste 2 more times and rotate/move them to the arms like shown.
Step 7: Paste 2 more times and rotate/move them to the bottom of the body like shown.
Step 8: Paste twice again and rotate/move them to the bottoms of the legs like shown.
Congratulations!
You have just created a stick figure! Now you can create a texture for it and find a friendly FPSC forum
user to animate it for you and get it FPSC ready.
