Objective:
Teacher will plan and present a unit
project showing students how to
create a mini-book that incorporates
the learning objectives for a unit.

Questions to Ask Yourself
Question 1:
What are
the unit
skills and
vocabulary?

students practice these
skills and vocabulary in a
project?
Question 4: How can I assess
their work? Be detailed in
the assessment.
Let’s Practice
• Step 1- What are the grammar points presented
in the unit?
Examples: time, imperatives, can for ability,
asking for permission
• Step 2- What’s my objective for the project?
Students will be able to write imperatives.
• Step 3- Choose a project.
I chose the mini-book project. The book is similar
to note cards, and students will be able use it to
review. This project helps my kinesthetic learners.
• Step 4- Create an assessment.
Make a rubric.
