Taking Turns Created by Ellen Weber August 2007 Sometimes we need to take turns, like when we get on the school bus. We take turns getting food in the cafeteria. We take turns talking on the phone. We take turns talking in class. We raise our hand to ask for a turn. We take turns when we play games. Everybody gets a turn. Then it starts all over again. Your turn, my turn. Your turn, my turn. When our turn is over, we need to stop. Then everyone else takes their turns. It’s okay to give everyone else a turn. We’ll get another turn when they are done.
