Goshen educational Trust fund is looking for a well experienced accountant to assist in the financial
operations of its fast growing business.
The ideal candidate should possess:
•
At least a diploma in accountancy from a well reputed college, a Bcom degree will be an added
advantage
•
2 to 3 years of work experience as an accountant preferably in an educational institution
•
Good knowledge on the IFRS and the GAAP policies and procedures is a must
•
Knowledge on the tax laws and preparing TAX and VAT returns is a must
•
Knowledge on payroll preparation is an added advantage
Duties and responsibilities:
•
Petty cash management
•
Asset valuation and verification
•
Cost and Cost analysis
•
Preparing the quarterly and annual internal financial statements
•
Budgeting and handling the variance analysis
•
Payroll management
•
Stock management
•
Carrying out Bank reconciliations
•
Handle payments with suppliers and credit collection from clients
•
Prepare financial records for external audit purpose
•
Any other tasks as may be assigned by the Finance Manager
