A day out»

Тема урока – «A day out »
Тип урока – урок комплексного применения знаний, умений и навыков.
Формы работы: индивидуальная, парная, коллективная.
Используемый метод – коммуникативный.
Цель – формирование коммуникативных навыков по теме «Выходной день».
Задачи:
1. Создать условия для использования учащимися лексического и
грамматического материала, усвоенного на предыдущих уроках;
2. Способствовать развитию навыков восприятия и понимания речи на
слух, навыков просмотрового чтения;
3. Стимулировать учащихся к изучению английского языка, воспитывать
интерес к культуре Великобритании,
прививать культуру
взаимодействия.
Оборудование урока: компьютер, мультимедийная установка.
Дидактическое оснащение: раздаточный материал, мультимедийная
презентация.

Ход урока
I этап. Организационно-мотивационный
–Today we`ll speak about your days out - the days that you spend with your family
or your friends together (Слайд 1). During the lesson you`ll get a chance to check
your knowledge of the topic. You`ll develop your speaking skills, listening and
grammar skills.
–Now I`d like to find out what words you associate with the day out. Where can
you go on your days out? Who will be the last? Who`ll name more words?

– Let`s do some phonetic exercises. Look at the screen and repeat after me

–Today we have an interesting programme for our lesson. We`ll visit many
wonderful places (Слайд 13).

–The first place to visit is a History museum (Слайд 14).
Now we`ll watch a scene that pupils will role play for us.

3. Listening
–The second place we`re going is a cinema (Слайд 15).
Liza watched a film “The cat that walked by himself”. She wants to share her
impressions and she would like to tell us this story. Listen to her attentively. After
that she`ll check your understanding and ask some questions. So be ready to
answer them. (Смотри Л.М. Лапицкая, Т.Ю.Севрюкова и др. Английский
язык: учебное пособие для 5 кл. В 2ч. Ч.1., c. 31-32)

–The next place is an amusement park (Слайд 16).
–When did you last go there?
–What did you do?
– Ellie went to the park (Слайд 17). What park did she go? Try to guess what she
did there. What do you think, Mitya? Do you know what the sign £ means. Do
you understand the word ‘free’? (=you don`t have to pay, give money). How much
is an ice-cream?
–Listen and answer. How much did she pay? (Key: £8)

Hello! My name`s Ellie. Yesterday I went to the “Funland” amusement park.
It was cool! First I went on the merry-go-round. That was fast! The big wheel? I
didn`t go on the big wheel, I don`t like it. I like riding ponies! So I rode a pony and
went to the gift shop. I bought a lovely teddy bear. Then I played on the swings.
That was fun, but I got tired and hungry. So I went to the café. I had an ice-cream
and an orange juice. That was my best day out.

4. Moving activity
–Now let`s have a short rest. Let`s sing the song “On a sunny day” with
movements. (Слайд 18).

5.Video
–We rode rides and had a lot of fun. I think we should do the shopping. Guess:
what place we`re going to visit. Sure, a gift shop in London. Before watching a
video, let`s learn some words. (Слайд 19).

–Try to guess the meaning of these words. A drum is the musical instrument. You
beat it when you play. A didgeridoo is an Australian dudka. When you want to
buy jeans you should try them on. We try jeans in the changing room. You go to
the shop to buy some flowers and a shop-assistant sells them to us. A shopassistant and a seller are synonyms. When jeans are too big for you you need a
small size, or if they are too small you need a large size.

warm. Jane`s dad went fishing. He likes fishing very much. Jane picked flowers
and her mum made some sandwiches. Jane and her little brother sat on the grass
and ate sandwiches. Then they saw a little fax. It was so funny!
