first students dribble down and around the cone and dribble back to the next person in line. Then
the next student will dribble down this will continue until all students have dribbled down and
back. (Jenkins, M. Sports education in PETE programs.)

dribble the basketball and maintain possession and at the same time try to knock other students
dribble away from them. (Zakrajsek, D., Carnes, L., Pettigrew JR., F. Quality lesson plans for
secondary physical education.)

pass back. The initial student hand the ball off to the same student and goes to the end of the line.
Continue with a long pass to the next corner. Have the passes go in a clockwise rotation.

Activity 2: Monkey in the Middle- Students form a circle with one student in the middle. Using
one ball and one type of pass, a student in the circle must attempt to get the ball to any other
student in the circle other than the two students standing immediately at each side of them. The
student in the middle must try to deflect of intercept the pass. (Zakrajsek, D., Carnes, L.,

the court after each shot, while another student rebounds the ball and quickly passes to the
shooter. . (Zakrajsek, D., Carnes, L., Pettigrew JR., F. Quality lesson plans for secondary

ball, the student with the ball will take 3 dribbles and shot a layup. The student in the other line
will rebound the shot and pass it to the next student in the layup line. The passer will go to the
back of the layup line and the shooter will go to the back of the rebounding line. (Zakrajsek, D.,
