Напишите небольшой рассказ о своей профессии, успехах и ожиданиях (с использованием условных предложений, например). I work as a storekeeper at a big plant. This profession is neither well-paid nor prestigious. But in the job market storekeepers are in a great demand. The storekeeper is responsible for the safekeeping of almost any property. As a rule, it is stored in the warehouse. Storekeepers’ duties may be different, most often they are receipt, storage, removal, and transportation, determination of the quality of goods, as well as accounting and reporting. The profession of a storekeeper appeared in ancient times because the major Greek merchants hired special people who were responsible for the storage of goods. The development of this profession is closely linked with the development of crafts, production and trade. In the XVII century, during the industrial revolution storekeepers were in high demand in major commercial cities. Literacy, honesty and responsibility were very important for shopkeepers. And now no big company that has its warehouses for storage of goods can do without a skilled storekeeper. Accounting for goods in a stock is carried out with the help of special computer programs. A modern storekeeper should be a confident PC user. A storekeeper must have such qualities as responsibility, attention to details, meticulousness, and great visual memory, the ability to count quickly and accurately, the ability to work with information. And, of course - honesty, just as in ancient times and the Middle Ages. A storekeeper is a financially responsible person, and that's it .As for my job, promotion is possible. In large warehouses they usually have a position of the senior storekeeper, under favorable conditions I can become a warehouse manager.
